Dr Huang Kuan-Gen graduated from Taipei Medical College in 1987, and practices as a Gynecologic Oncologist at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan now. He has a special research field in “Endoscopic Application in Gynecologic Oncology” He and Professor Lee Chyi-Long co-created Lee-Huang point and its application of laparoscopic lymphadenectomy, ovarian transposition, surgical staging in endometrial cancer, radical hysterectomy in cervical cancer.

He publishes more than 60 SCI papers in the field of Gynecological Endoscopy and Gynecological Oncology and was often invited as a speaker and live case demonstration at international platform in recent years.

As an active member of APAGE (The Asia-Pacific Association for Gynecologic Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Therapy), he is the Course Director and conducts annual international laparoscopic oncology symposium with hands-on animal workshop since 2006.

He is also the Chairman of Chang Gung Memorial Hospital International Fellowship Gynecological Endoscopy Training Program. Since 2003, more than 50 international fellows came to Taiwan Chang Gung Memorial Hospital for Gynecological Endoscopy training from Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Pakistan, Portugal, Argentina, Armenia, and India.

In addition, he also the editor of Gynecology and Minimal Invasive Therapy (official journal of APAGE) and make much efforts to the success of this journal.
