Professor Karin Louise Andersson, Medical Degree 2003 and PhD at Karolinska Insitutet 2016.
She is currently Ob/Gyn at Piero Palagi Hospital, Florence, Italy.
Her interests include second and third level of screening for cervical cancer and prevention of endomyometrial pathology. An expert in laser therapy and hysteroscopies for prevention of gynaecological cancer of the lower female genital tract. An expert in mini-invasive surgical approaches for conservative management of uterine fibroids including radiofrequency ablation/myolysis.
She is often an invited speaker at many international meetings such ESGE, FIGO, ISGE and SEUD.
She is the Regional Secretary for the AGITE since 2016 and member of the National Board of GISCI and SIGO since 2021.
