Dr Khoo Chong Kiat is a Senior Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, in private practice at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital. Prior to this, he had served 20 years of public service, with the Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) Unit at KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital, Singapore.

He did his HMDP Fellowship in Endometriosis & Minimally Invasive Surgery under the mentorship of renowned Professor Michel Canis in Clermont-Ferrand, France in 2010.

He has been invited as a teaching faculty and international speaker at various MIS conferences around the world, e.g., APAGE, AAGL, ESGE and ISGE. He was involved in the teaching and training of KK MIS overseas fellows from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and Germany. He is currently serving as the Vice Secretary-General of APAGE.

As for his academic contributions, he was appointed Adjunct Assistant Professorships in all of Singapore’s 3 medical schools. He was also the inaugural Core Faculty member of the SingHealth ACP O&G Residency Programme. In 2016, he won a Macy scholarship as a clinician-educator to Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA.

He served previously as the Treasurer and Honorary Secretary of the College of O&G, Singapore. He was also the Section Head of Gynae-Endoscopy from 2018 to 2020).
