Have You Heard About Caesarean Scar Disorders?

Dr Siraj graduated from faculty of Medicine, Colombo, Srilanka and obtained his postgraduate degrees MD (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) (Colombo) in 2005 and MRCOG(London) in 2007.  He is a member of the obstetrics and gynaecology society of Singapore (OGSS) and Srilanka College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (SLCOG).

Dr Siraj was awarded Fellowship by the Ministry of Health (Srilanka) in 2007 and had subspeciality training in minimal invasive surgery in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore. Dr Siraj has published in numerous scientific journals and helped to organize scientific meetings and taken part in many local and overseas congress and workshop. 

In addition he is a clinical tutor for the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine National University of Singapore and currently working as a Senior Staff Physician with Minimally Invasive Surgery Unit, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore.

His Special interests include caesarean scar pregnancy, caesarean scar myometrial defect repair during caesarean section and placenta accreta spectrum disorders.

He has published novel techniques in managing caesarean scar pregnancy, repair of myometrial defect during caesarean section and placenta accreta spectrum disorders, is an active member of the KKH Accreta team and conducting caesarean scar clinic in KKH.
