Dr. Suketu Mansuria is the Assistant Director of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center at Magee Women’s Hospital.  He is also the Assistant Director of the Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship.

He completed his residency and fellowship training in Advanced Gynecologic Minimally Invasive Surgery at UPMC/Magee Women’s Hospital.

His clinical practice is devoted to minimally invasive surgical options for women.  He performs over 400 surgical procedures per year.  He has received numerous patient awards recognizing his compassionate and skilled care, including being named as one of the Best Doctors for Women by Pittsburgh Magazine.

Given his commitment to minimally invasive surgery, he wanted to make these options available to more women.  For two decades, he has been educating residents, fellows, and currently practicing surgeons (both nationally and internationally) on minimally invasive techniques.  He has been asked to speak at numerous national and international conferences, demonstrate his surgical techniques during live telesurgeries, present his research at national meetings, and exhibit his award-winning surgical videos to his colleagues.

He is also an Editorial Board member of the Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology and Past Editor-In-Chief of SurgeryU.com (AAGL’s online video archive).
