Asst. Prof. Chailert Phong-narisorn is the Chief of the Divisions of Gynecologic Endoscopy and Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University, Thailand. He earned his MD from Chiang Mai University in 1989, followed by Thai Board certification in OB-GYN in 1993, and sub-board diplomas in Gynecologic Oncology (2005) and Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery (2015).
Asst. Prof. Chailert Phong-narisorn has completed advanced training in laparoscopic and robotic gynecologic surgery across leading institutions in Japan, Taiwan, Germany, and Korea. His special clinical interests include vNOTES, laparoscopic pelvic floor reconstructive surgery (e.g., sacrocolpopexy, Davydov procedure), MIS for deep endometriosis, and gynecologic oncology including sentinel lymph node biopsy.
Asst. Prof. Chailert Phong-narisorn is Chair of the Executive Board Committee on MIGS under the Royal Thai College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Thai Society of Gynecologic Endoscopists (TSGE) and as an advisory board member for both the Thai Urogynecologists Association (ThaiUGA) and the Thai Gynecologic Cancer Society (TGCS). He is also a founder and past president of the Thai Endoscopic Society for Gynecologic Oncology (TESGO).
