Dr Vitaya Titapant is currently an elected member of the Medical Council of Thailand and Senior Advisor to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. He is also an Honorary Member of the Society for Gynaecological Minimally Invasive Surgery, Singapore. 

Prior to his current appointments, he served as President of the Royal Thai College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists from 2022 to 2024. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in establishing Thailand’s first Fellowship Training Programs in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and the first national training program in Sexual Medicine. 

In addition, he was instrumental in introducing High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) as a treatment modality for uterine fibroids and adenomyosis in Thailand. This initiative received strong support from Professor Zhibiao Wang of Chongqing Medical University, the inventor of the HIFU technology.

Beyond these contributions, Dr Vitaya Titapant has served as an expert committee member and advisor to several national organizations, including the Healthcare Accreditation Institute (Public Organization) and the National Health Security Office of Thailand.
