Associate Professor Harald Krentel is a specialist for Gynecology and Obstetrics, certified Gynecological Oncologist and certified specialist in Minimally Invasive Surgery.

He is specialized in surgery in deep endometriosis and gynecological cancer. He performs surgery in deep endometriosis of the colorectal and urinary tract including nerve-sparing techniques in the deep retroperitoneal space. He is also specialized in hysteroscopic and laparoscopic procedures in adenomyosis including adenomyomectomy and cytoreductive procedures in infertility.

He currently holds the position of Director of Clinic for Gynecology, Obstetrics and Gynecological Oncology, Bethesda Hospital, Duisburg, Academic Teaching Hospital University Dusseldorf, Germany as well as Head of the Gynecological Cancer Center. This is a certified center for gynecological cancer, breast cancer and specialized in deep endometriosis and adenomyosis.

• President of DSGGG, German-Spanish Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Board member of German Society of Womens Health in development cooperation, FIDE, Germany

His research interests include endometriosis/adenomyosis and fertility, ultrasound in adenomyosis, technical innovations in minimally invasive surgery, gynecological cancer, training and education in endometriosis and adenomyosis. Lastly, ICG application.
