Dr. Jessie Phoon graduated from the University of Auckland in 2005 and subsequently pursued a post graduate degree in obstetrics and gynaecology. She was conferred membership by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists(UK) and Master of Medicine(Singapore) in 2011.
She is a MOH accredited IVF specialist and is fully qualified to perform the full spectrum of assisted reproductive techniques(ART). She had the privilege to further pursue her interest in fine-tuning In-Vitro Maturation(IVM) into routine IVF and fertility preservation in Karolinska Institute, Sweden under the MOH – Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP).
In the last years of clinical practice as a Senior Consultant in KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital, she helmed the directorship of KKIVF Centre & National Sperm Bank (2020-2023). She also co-founded the OncoFertility Clinic (OFC), which is the first co-joint gynaeoncology and fertility clinic in Singapore.
Apart from performing general obstetrics & gynaecology, she is also fully proficient and accredited in performing minimally invasive surgeries/laparoscopic surgeries as she believes in its quick recovery rate with less pain.
