Dr Prashant Mangeshikar is a pioneer of Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery in India.

He developed the Laparoscopic Mangeshikar Cervicopexy for Uterine Prolapse and several instruments for laparoscopic surgery esp. Mangeshikar Uterine Mobilisar for Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy. He is also the first to perform Laparoscopic Hysterectomy in India.

He is invited Faculty at International and National Conferences with over 450 Laparoscopic Surgery workshops in India, UK, France, Germany, Muscat, China, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan and Singapore.

He was Past President of Indian Association of Gynecological Endoscopy, Past President of International Society for Gynecological Endoscopy (ISGE) from 2013 to 2015.  He is also the Global Director of International Society of Neuropelveology (ISON) as well as Founder Vice President of APAGE.

Deeply involved in spreading the knowledge of Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgery amidst the medical fraternity, he continues to travel and teach with the greatest enthusiasm, to enable the fun and art of operative endoscopy to reach all surgeons.
